2002 Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG
- Park & Tilford, North Vancouver
AMG was originally an independent engineering firm specializing in performance upgrades for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. DaimlerChrysler AG took sole ownership of AMG in 2005, making this 2002 car one of the last true AMG's. The Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG launched as a competitor to BMW's popular M3, replacing the V-8-powered C43 AMG. Powered by a supercharged version of Mercedes' 3.2-liter 90-degree V-6 with an output of 354 bhp at 6100 rpm, it's no wonder Road & Track referred the C32 as a boosted Benz with Porsche 911 performance.

Description
Seller: rallyone
Location: North Vancouver, BC
VIN: WDBRE65J12F162678
Odometer: 191k km
Title Status: Clean (British Columbia, Canada)
Overview:
This AMG built C32 was acquired by the seller in October 2020 and received a service, oil change and inspection at Juan's Auto Service, a well-respected European specialist in Richmond, BC. This car is now offered in North Vancouver, British Columbia with service records, a toolkit, factory literature and a clean BC title.
Drivetrain:
This C32 AMG is powered by a supercharged, Kompressor, version of Mercedes' 3.2-liter, twin-ignition, 3-valve 90-degree V-6 with an output of 354 bhp at 6100 rpm and 332 lb.-ft. of torque at 4400 rpm.
Power is delivered to the rear wheel via a 5-speed automatic transmission using a Speedshift system to accelerate through the gearing.
The exhaust system is also unique to the AMG with larger ceramic-core catalysts for reduced backpressure and increased performance.
Exterior:
The exterior is finished in silver and features subtle nods to the AMG tuning, including drilled brake rotors, badging, exhaust tips and venting. Minor rock chips and small scuffs in the paint are noted and photos, along with close-ups of the paint and trim, can be viewed in the gallery.
The lightweight AMG alloy wheels feature Mercedes-Benz centre caps and wear Michelin tires . The wheels show some cosmetic imperfections including peeling of the paint, which is common of this era of AMG cars.
Interior:
The four-passenger cabin is upholstered in black leather with blue inserts and matching carpet, original AMG-badged floormats and a crack-free black dashboard. Amenities include heated seats, air conditioning and an original AM/FM radio with multi-disc CD stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 300km/hr VDO speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 191k kilometres, approximately 400 of which were added by the seller. The onboard computer currently shows no malfunctions. The seller notes that occasionally one rear lamp bulb will intermittently revert to the reserve lamp.
Payment Note:
When you agree to purchase a vehicle on the Rally platform your credit card will be charged a 5% buyer's fee which will be collected by Rally Auctions Ltd. This is in addition to the sale price. Rally will send you the seller's contact information and you can arrange payment, shipping and complete the transaction.

amg_fan C32 Questions11/26/2020 11:20:32Hello, nice C32. Seller would you be able to upload a copy of the carfax for the car? Also, given that this is a 2002 C32, does the car still have the Valeo radiator or has this been addressed in the past? Do you have any service records with the car that you can share? Thanks.

Re: C32 Questions11/26/2020 19:13:46Thanks amg_fan! It's in incredible shape for the age and milage. I don't know about the radiator. Is there a way to visually check? I've requested service records from the shop and Rally will post an ICBC history shortly.
