r63omg Check Engine Light06/24/2021 20:25:08I know Drew already asked about this and we’re waiting to hear back, but that check engine light could be a huge deal. Would really help to know what’s going on (could be a simple sensor or it could be $25k+ USD…).

Re: Check Engine Light06/25/2021 00:18:41Hello,
I believe it is a sensor issue but I have an appointment booked at a Mercedes specialty shop July 2nd to confirm. Also to have a full up to date mechanical inspection done.
Apologies on delay for response,
Cory

kirkrutherford Mercedes R6306/22/2021 15:12:19Having spoken to Matt,he suggested asking you for more information.Sure you've heard of the "dreaded"headbolt failures;has
your car been upgraded or developed problems? What does the carfax show and what is the overall cosmetic condition? Would
like to import the car to U.S(Oregon).,do you know if it's U.S. compliant or would require complex retrofitting to comply?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.Would appreciate a conversation at your convenience.#831-392-6141;hikirkr@gmail.com -
Re: Mercedes R6306/22/2021 22:20:20Hey Kirk,
I am very familiar with the head bolt issues on these. This was not as common of an issue as you would think. Typically showing itself around or under the 100k mark. that has never been an issue with this particular unit. The carfax is clean. Canadian car. My father in law bought off the owner of the Mercedes dealership in town back in 2008 and has owned it ever since. It has always been maintained at a Mercedes specialist shop since day one, with all records to show. As far as retrofit, I am not entirely sure what would need to take place.
feel free to reach out should you have any further questions.
thanks
Cory
